Recent reports suggest a messy but realistic way for Tammy Abraham to end up back at Villa Park. Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider says AS Roma are ready to let the striker go for good. Abraham is currently on loan at Besiktas, but the report says the Italian club are willing to scrap the Turkish side’s option to buy if Aston Villa come in with the right offer.

The situation is a bit of a contractual triangle. Besiktas have a deal to sign Abraham for about £11.2 million at the end of the season. However, Roma want to get a deal done now to get the cash on their books immediately.
