Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Crystal Palace have requested the Premier League to reschedule their December fixture against Leeds United in an attempt to ease their packed schedule.

The Eagles' Carabao Cup quarter-final clash with Arsenal is set for December 23, marking one of eight matches for Palace in December, including a visit to the Emirates Stadium just two days after their scheduled trip to Elland Road.

Arsenal's boss Mikel Arteta is also grappling with a similar tight schedule and hinted on Monday that the Gunners will aim to have their own match against Everton on 21st December moved, presumably to a day earlier.

"We're trying the same thing that Arsenal is," Glasner stated. "We're trying to move the Leeds game forward to Saturday, so that we have two days between these games. Let's see.

"We didn't get a response (yet) from the Premier League, just to have the same situation as Arsenal, if their game is moved."

Originally, the Carabao Cup tie was slated for December 16, but this would have resulted in Palace playing four matches within eight...
