Voting is now open for our October Women’s Player of the Month award, which, as usual, will solely be decided by votes from our Gooners!
We picked up two wins last month and four players have been nominated for the monthly prize.
To remind yourself how the quartet performed in October and then cast your vote below.
Mariona Caldentey
Mariona was at the heart of our victories in October. The midfielder played the full 90 against Benfica, having a big hand in the opening goal as her cross wasn't dealt with, allowing Beth Mead to find the net. Mariona's performance earned her the Player of the Match award in Lisbon.
Our No. 8 also scored a superb equaliser against Manchester City in a 3-2 defeat in the Women's Super League.
Kim Little
Captain Kim was ever-present in all four of our matches in October. Despite defeat against Lyon in our opening Champions League contest, there was a milestone to be marked for Kim, as she became our record appearance-maker in the Women’s Champions League.
It was her 78th game in the competition, overtaking Emma Byrne's record. Little marked her 79th by helping us beat Benfica 2-0...
