SAINTS became the first away team to lose at Ewood Park this season as they suffered a 2-1 defeat against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Leo Scienza's first goal for Saints was not enough to stop Will Still's side from losing back-to-back fixtures as Rovers came from behind to win.

Ryan Alebiosu scored with what was initially a cross, before Icelandic forward Andri Guðjohnsen got his first Rovers goal to seal three points.
