Alexander Isak could be forced to miss Liverpool's Premier League clash at Brentford on Saturday evening, meaning thousands of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers could also be forced to tweak their teams. The big-money summer signing was taken off at half-time during the Reds' 5-1 Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday night.

Isak had complained of discomfort in his groin during the first half in Germany, with Liverpool leading 3-1. Federico Chiesa replaced him before Arne Slot's men scored another two to end a run of four straight defeats.

The striker had a disrupted pre-season due to his transfer saga. His first game of the season was on September 17, while he has only managed one goal since his British record transfer to Anfield.
