I was trying to think of the best way to describe watching our beloved United this season and I find it a completely unenjoyable, exhaustive experience. Any highs we get during the 90 minutes just get quashed by the inevitable final ball or from our finishing. This even takes into account the fact that the first 45 minutes against Brighton 1were arguably our best football this season!

And yet having watched us control the game, I had no real confidence we would score. I just had hope of a set piece or something falling our way, rather than craft and guile fashioning opportunities.

This might be controversial, and I would have lost my mind had we done it, but had we cashed in on Isak for say £110-120 million in the summer and bought in a right winger who can fill in down the middle, and a centre forward, we would have been in for a completely different season.

My biggest fear this year was on the back of another under performing season, our star players would be queuing up to leave. We are closing in on November and right now I would happily sell a star player...
