Thomas Frank watched his Tottenham Hotspur side move up to five points in the UEFA Champions League table after three games with a 0-0 draw against AS Monaco at the Principality Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Guglielmo Vicario was outstanding on the night, making eight saves in total to keep AS Monaco at bay and save the Lilywhites’ blushes. It was arguably the 29-year-old’s best performance for Spurs, coming at a critical time when his team needed him the most. Nonetheless, it was a far from a convincing display for Thomas Frank’s side from both defensive and attacking standpoint, leaving them 15th in the Champions League table.

Tottenham were extremely lucky to walk away with a point from AS Monaco, who bossed the majority of the game. Apart from getting a valuable point and keeping a clean sheet away from home, there is basically not many positives to take for Thomas Frank. And the Dane will also be concerned with Spurs’ growing injury list after another player was forced off the pitch.
