Tottenham may have lost against Aston Villa and drawn away to Monaco, but Thomas Frank has taken one big positive thanks to Randal Kolo Muani.

The criticism of Frank’s conservative approach and Tottenham’s lack of creativity has only been amplified after the club’s performance away at Monaco.

It was Spurs’ first goalless draw in two-and-a-half years, with the club last playing out a 0-0 result back in March of 2023 under Antonio Conte.

On the balance of play, the Lilywhites were lucky to come away with the draw, with Guglielmo Vicario’s heroics in goal saving Tottenham’s blushes against Monaco.

While there are not too many positives for Spurs to take from their last two matches, fans did get to see Kolo Muani in action as a substitute in both games.

The Frenchman has now made his Premier League and Champions League debuts for the Lilywhites, and Frank admitted that he is delighted to have the 26-year-old available.
