Tottenham Hotspur are still searching for their first away win under Thomas Frank in the UEFA Champions League, but Archie Gray still managed to find a reason to smile on a tough night in Monaco.

Tottenham Hotspur’s away form in the UEFA Champions League has not exactly been their strongest in recent times.

Coming into their latest away tie in the competition, Spurs had won just one of their previous seven away matches in Europe’s top club tournament, drawing two and losing four.

That run did not improve, as Thomas Frank’s men were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw against AS Monaco. It marked back-to-back draws in the competition for the new boss, and while a point away in Europe is never a disaster, the performance left plenty to be desired.

It was also a strange milestone evening for Spurs, as the result ended their 125-game run without a goalless draw.

Frank’s side could consider themselves fortunate to have even earned that, given that Monaco were the more dominant side throughout the ninety minutes.
