Spurs fans have discovered the reality of playing away at PSG.

Just as Newcastle United fans found out two seasons ago.

The same as the fans of all the other English clubs have experienced, when playing PSG away in the Champions League.

Indeed, supporters of any other European club, when facing PSG away in the top level competition.

The UEFA rules state that in their competitions, away fans should be entitled to at least five per cent of the capacity.

The PSG home capacity in the Champions League matches is somewhere between 47,000 and 48,000, which means away fans should get something around 2,350-2,400 tickets.

Newcastle United fans though, just as Spurs fans are now discovering, only got an allocation of 2,000 tickets for PSG away.

A lot of angry Spurs fans ahead of their PSG away game on Wednesday 26 November 2025, so few tickets, which has led Tottenham to issue this explanation.
