Alexander Isak's miserable run of form since leaving Newcastle United has seen football pundits split over how he should be handled by Liverpool boss Arne Slot.

The Swedish striker has seen his form plummet for both club and country after his £130million move to Anfield. The striker is yet to score in the Premier League for Liverpool and has also failed to net for Sweden as they look set to crash out of World Cup qualifying.

Isak's latest blank came on Sunday afternoon in the high-profile game against Manchester United. The striker started ahead of Hugo Ekitike but was replaced after 72 minutes, having missed a great opportunity in the first half and barely getting into the game.

The forward continues to look sluggish despite now having had several games to regain sharpness after he disrupted his own fitness by going on strike in pre-season with Newcastle.
