Danny Welbeck scored twice as Albion beat Newcastle.

But there was plenty to see, hear and enjoy on a successful Saturday afternoon at the Amex.

No comeback needed

A precious win for Albion. And one in which they did NOT have to come from behind.

The Seagulls had trailed in seven of their previous eight wins in league and FA Cup (not Carabao Cup, obviously), the exception being last season’s 2-0 at Wolves.

But it DID rather feel like the tide was against them just before Danny Welbeck scored his second goal. So a comeback of sorts.
