Arsenal are reportedly battling with European giants over a deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Nathaniel Brown, as per German outlet Bild.

The Gunners were very active in the summer transfer window and reinforced several areas of the squad to hand Mikel Arteta the necessary tools to challenge on all fronts this season.

They signed Kepa Arrizabalaga to support David Raya, while Piero Hincapié and Cristhian Mosquera were bought to bolster the defence. Moreover, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard joined following Thomas Partey and Jorginho’s departure as free agents.

In addition, Noni Madueke, Eberechi Eze, and Viktor Gyokeres were purchased to revamp the frontline. Now, the North London club have built a strong team and have squad depth in every department.

Still, Bild report that Arsenal are planning to reinforce the squad further, with the left-back position on their radar. They have earmarked Brown as a serious option, having been impressed by his recent performances, and could make a concrete approach next year.
