Tottenham Hotspur adequately backed new boss Thomas Frank during the summer transfer window, bringing in as many as eight players.

Mohammed Kudus has been the standout performer, making an impact for the Lilywhites and seamlessly slotting into Thomas Frank’s system. Fellow summer signing Joao Palhinha has been excellent too, adding a much-needed layer of protection in front of the backline. Tottenham are keen to trigger their option to sign Palhinha, regardless of the Portuguese being a matter of months into his loan spell from Bayern Munich.

Yet, Spurs are far from a complete unit and have several areas in the squad that require addressing in the next transfer windows. One area of focus has to be the striker department, especially due to the fact that Dominic Solanke and Randal Kolo Muani are currently sidelined. This has left Richarlison to shoulder the responsibility of leading the attack for Thomas Frank’s side almost in every game, and knowing his fitness record, Spurs fans remain worried.
