Everton Women are set for another landmark occasion as they prepare to host Manchester United Women at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday.

It will be the first time that the Blues Women play a match at the new waterfront stadium, having moved into Goodison Park full-time this season. 

“We are just going to go in and enjoy that one in a big stadium with a big crowd. We are super-excited for it,” said manager Brian Sorensen in the pre-match press conference.

Sorensen’s side will be hoping that the change of venue brings better fortune as they are yet to win a match since their impressive 4-1 triumph over Liverpool Women at Anfield in the Women’s Super League opener.

Since then, they’ve lost consecutive matches to Tottenham and London City at Goodison Park, lost to Brighton away from home and managed a 1-1 draw with Leicester City on the road.

As a result, they find themselves ninth in the table with four points from five matches.
