Tottenham Hotspur head into the international break sitting in the top four of the Premier League table, following a hard-fought 2-1 win over Leeds United that capped off a solid run of form under Thomas Frank.
Goals from Mathys Tel and Mohammed Kudus ensured Tottenham Hotspur picked up all three points, ending a frustrating streak of failing to win their final fixture before international breaks, a run that stretched back to 2023.
The victory also brought an end to their sequence of back-to-back draws in the league, giving Frank’s men a much-needed lift heading into the pause in domestic action.
It was another display that highlighted the resilience and attacking balance Tottenham have started to develop this season, with several key performers stepping up at crucial moments.

WhoScored has now revealed their Premier League team of the week for matchweek seven, and two Tottenham Hotspur players have earned their place in the line-up.
Mohammed Kudus was included after delivering a brilliant all-round performance, earning a rating of 8.40, the second-highest of any player in the gameweek, with Bruno Guimaraes of Newcastle recording 8.46.
