Spurs fans will adore what James Maddison has said to Mohammed Kudus on social media following Tottenham’s win at Elland Road.

Kudus has been one of the best wingers on show in the Premier League this season, but the 25-year-old was still waiting for his first goal for the Lilywhites.

That finally arrived at Elland Road, with the winger’s deflected strike finding the bottom corner on 57 minutes, and it proved to be the match-winner for Thomas Frank’s men.

It was certainly just reward for the effort and commitment the Ghanian has shown this season, and Maddison is over the moon for Tottenham’s summer signing.

Apart from the goal, the former West Ham man also picked up his fifth assist of the season at Elland Road, playing the through ball for Mathys Tel’s first-half goal.

When Kudus found the back of the net in the second period, he pulled out his trademark celebration by sitting on a stool, and his teammates were over the moon for the winger.

Maddison was also delighted to see Kudus get on the score sheet, with the attacking midfielder writing on Instagram stories: “Told you it was coming brother!!! My guy @kudus_mohammed”, along with a fire and star-eyes...
