Luckless Leeds United suffered their first home league defeat in more than a year to dampen home spirits on a wet afternoon at Elland Road. Two deflected efforts off of Pascal Struijk, the first from Mathys Tel and the second from Mohamed Kudus, ultimately ended their home soil streak.

The result means Leeds, whose sole goal came from Noah Okafor, have got four points from their last four games, with eight points to show for their first seven matches. They have now played three of their 12 matches against Champions League teams.

Leeds started the game in a slightly comical fashion when Anton Stach's wayward volley from a corner crashed into the head of Ethan Ampadu before going for a goal kick.
