Arne Slot has admitted Liverpool will take their time reintegrating Alexander Isak back into the action following his lengthy absence through injury. The Swedish striker made his first appearance for the Reds in four months in the defeat to PSG in midweek.

Isak came off the bench for the latter stages of the game, with Liverpool searching for a way back into the tie. Slot's side trail 2-0 following the first leg and have it all to do if they want to progress in the competition.

However, the Champions League will be put on the backburner for the meantime, with Liverpool in action against Fulham this weekend. The Reds know they need a win to maintain their quest for Champions League qualification, though will be without several players for the clash at Anfield.
