Michael Essien reveals exactly what Tottenham are missing after the latest injury blow to Ghana star Mohammed Kudus.

Michael Essien knows Mohammed Kudus well, with the Spurs man one of the biggest names to come out of the Accra-based Right to Dream Academy.

The Right to Dream Academy acquired Nordsjaelland back in 2015, and the Danish club has thus served as a pathway into Europe for many Ghanaian talents.

Kudus also first made his name at Nordsjaelland after joining the club as a teenager before making the switch to Ajax in 2022.

Michael Essien has been Nordsjaelland’s assistant since 2020, and although his path did not cross with Kudus’ at the club, he is a big fan of his compatriot.
