COLBY DONOVAN is about to complete a hat-trick of Celtic misery.

The teenage right-back has undergone a scan after sustaining a knock in the 2-1 win over Dundee at Dens Park at the weekend.

Donovan was replaced by Anthony Ralston in the 67th minute with the game stalemated at 1-1 following Yang Hyun-jun’s early strike and Simon Murray’s penalty-kick equaliser just before the hour mark.

ON THE BALL…Anthony Ralston is poised to start against St Mirren on Saturday.

Kelechi Iheanacho, with his first goal of 2026, made certain the points were coming back to Parkhead with a firmly-struck winner in the 82nd minute.

The extent of Donovan’s injury was tested after the game and Martin O’Neill is now bracing himself for another injury setback, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.

Adding to the interim gaffer’s woes, two other right-sided defenders, Alistair Johnston and Julian Araujo, are also on the sidelines.

Scotland international Anthony Ralston is standing by to make a rare first-team start against St Mirren at Parkhead on Saturday afternoon.
