Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent months.

According to FussballDaten, Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly interested in securing his signature. The German International midfielder has a contract with Stuttgart until 2028 and includes a €40 million release clause.

However, they have an option to remove the release clause by paying €2 million, and the German club could demand around €65 million for the midfielder in the summer, if they manage to remove his release clause over the next few weeks. Stuttgart view the player as “untouchable”.

The two Premier League clubs are closely monitoring the player and hoping to secure his signature in the summer. Manchester United need a quality replacement for Casemiro, and the 24-year-old German International could be ideal for them. He is excellent at protecting the back four and winning the ball back for his team. He will allow the creative players to operate with more freedom. In addition to his defensive qualities, he is quite accomplished on the ball and has been compared to Toni Kroos. 

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United is willing to break the Bank for him.
