There will be emotional scenes at St James' Park on May 17 when Kieran Trippier leaves the famous pitch for the final time as a Newcastle United player.

The Magpies take on West Ham in their last home game of the season before what will be Trippier's last contribution to the cause at Fulham on May 24.

The former England international has confirmed he will leave the club when his contract expires in the summer after four-and-a-half years on Tyneside.

Trippier, who is now 35, had made the decision to call time on his Newcastle career to explore new options, and the announcement has been met with praise and thanks from some big names associated with the club.
