West Ham United return to their season this weekend, hosting Leeds United in the FA Cup quarter finals. A number of Hammers have been away with their nation’s in the past week and a half, including the team’s captain, Jarrod Bowen.

Bowen has been in great form for West Ham this season, with the highest number of goal involvements of any Englishman in the Premier League. Unfortunately, the 29-year-old’s place in Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup place is not assured.

The winger tried hard to convince the England boss this week, Bowen acknowledged he just has to keep on performing to force his way in, when talking to Hayters TV.

“I think there’s always a chance to impress,” he said. “Let’s not get it wrong, playing well at club level gets you here in the first place.

“My mindset going back to the club now is keeping my team in the Premier League and to keep playing well.
