Despite obvious ability, Dan Ndoye has proved to be a disappointing signing for Nottingham Forest. The Switzerland international’s early exit is very much possible.

The Midlands club paid €42m to sign the winger last summer. He scored on his debut and showed glimpses of his real quality but things haven’t really gone to the next level for him.

So far at Nottingham Forest, Ndoye has contributed to only four goals in all competitions. In the Premier League, he hasn’t scored since the opening game and increasingly, he has also lost his starting spot.

In January, Sport Witness covered Inter Milan’s interest in the attacker. A deal was naturally very complex at that point but the Italian giants remain keen on the former Bologna star.

Ndoye can fix Inter problems
