Nottingham Forest winger Dan Ndoye has admitted he is wondering about his situation at the club after impressing on international duty with Switzerland this week.

Ndoye was in good form for his nation this week as Switzerland hosted Germany in an international friendly.

He bagged the opening goal in that game in an impressive all-round performance despite the 4-3 defeat.

That led to plenty of praise in Switzerland afterwards, with SRF explaining that he gained ‘new confidence’ with the national team. That confidence has been sorely lacking at Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest struggles

The 25-year-old joined Nottingham Forest in a €42m deal from Bologna in the summer after impressing in Italy.

But the transition to the Premier League has not been an easy one. He’s managed just two goals and two assists in 34 appearances in all competitions for Nottingham Forest this season.

He hasn’t managed 90 minutes in the Premier League since the 9th of November. In fact, his 78 minutes for Switzerland this week was the most he’s managed since the end of November.
