Igor Tudor remains in charge of Tottenham Hotspur, for the time being, but his days appear to be numbered after last weekend’s embarrassing defeat to Nottingham Forest at home.

The Croat has failed to do the job for which he was hired in February, losing four out of five Premier League games in charge of the club. He cannot be blamed entirely for the mess; Tudor inherited an injury-ravaged squad from Thomas Frank that made it difficult to select a constant starting XI. While the injury list has eased lately, Tottenham fans witnessed a setback during the Nottingham Forest game.

Mathys Tel, the hosts’ best player on the afternoon, sustained a thigh injury against Nottingham Forest and had to be replaced in the 67th minute of the fixture. The youngster was called up to France’s Under-21 side for this international break, but injury forced him to withdraw.
