Mauricio Pochettino has emerged as a potential Tottenham option, but fresh details highlight why a short-term return may not be possible.

The focus at Tottenham Hotspur during the international break will be to reset and regroup ahead of what will be a difficult run-in.

Spurs currently find themselves in a crisis, as they run the risk of losing their Premier League status, with just a single point separating them from the relegation places.

Morale is at an all-time low within the club following the latest 3-0 defeat at the hands of relegation rivals Nottingham Forest, who quieted a rocking Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after fans looked to spur their side on before and during the match.

Roberto De Zerbi is one name linked with the Tottenham job, alongside Adi Hutter, Sean Dyche and Chris Hughton.
