Rotherham United have announced that Peter Leven has been appointed as first team assistant manager. Born in Scotland Peter was with Rangers for four years before making over sixty appearances for Kilmarnock. He then came South and played for Chesterfield, Milton Keynes and Oxford United before moving to Wearside with Jarrow Roofing BCA hanging up his boots in 2015. Peter moved into management with the Middlesbrough Academy before being assistant manager at Kilmarnock. He moved to France with Dynamo Brest in 2018 as assistant boss before taking up the same post with Russian side Orenburg three years later. Moving back to Scotland in 2024 he was caretaker manager at Aberdeen three times from 2024. All at Vital Rotherham welcome Peter to the New York Stadium.
