Albion are expected to snap up a teenage striker who has impressed at Rangers.

Sources in Glasgow believe Chris Condy will sign for the Seagulls.

The 16-year-old has been a regular goalscorer for the Ibrox outfit’s junior ranks after signing from Hamilton Academical.

Rangers have been keen to keep hold of him at the end of his current deal but it is now believed he will join Albion’s youth set-up.

Newsquest title The Rangers Review believe Condy to be on his way to Sussex to complete the move.

The expectation is that Condy would join up with Albion’s academy in time for next season.

He is known to be of interest to clubs in the Premier League and Championship and has previously trained with Fulham.

His highlight moments for Hamilton included a winning goal against Celtic at under-18 level.

While their Sussex production line is proving fruitful, Albion have also cast their net far and wide for young talent in recent years.
