Danny Rohl has confirmed that there is an injury blow suffered by a Rangers player and he could be ruled out for weeks.

Ahead of the Dundee United game, the German issued an update on his squad as a number of players were returning from international duty.

He stated that Andreas Skov Olsen was training and will be available after missing the 4-1 loss against Aberdeen.

Rohl did not reveal the identity of the player as he stated that there had been an injury in the squad.

The Gers boss said that he hoped for him to be back before the split, but he is likely to return after it.

This would mean that the mystery player will be ruled out for weeks and the Light Blues will have to cope with his absence.

The good thing is that there are no other major injury concerns for them, barring Bailey Rice, who has been ruled out until the end of the season.
