Reported Newcastle United summer transfer target Hugo Bueno has taken his game to new levels with Wolverhampton Wanderers this year after winning his place back in the side.

The 23-year-old attacking left-back has been linked with a move to Tyneside this summer, with Wolves heading to the Championship.

Bueno has been part of the Wolves side which recorded a 2-2 draw with Arsenal last month, and played the full 90 minutes in Friday night's 2-0 win over Midlands rivals Aston Villa.

Newcastle are said to be watching the Spain Under-21 international as they look to beef up their options at full-back. Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento are first-choice options for Eddie Howe, but with questions over Livramento's long-term future amid interest from Manchester City, and Kieran Trippier's contract expiring this summer, United are set to add a full-back to their squad.
