Andy Halliday believes that Rangers are in the driver’s seat to win the Scottish Premiership title even though Hearts are in first place.

Rangers find themselves four points behind Hearts in the Scottish Premiership table.

Celtic are two points behind the Ibrox outfit, but have a game in hand, making this a three-way fight for the title going into the split.

Halliday believes that the SPFL title is currently Rangers’ to lose, even though they are chasing Hearts at the top of the table.

However, he has pointed to the history of the club and stated that whenever the pressure seems to be on them, they seem to crumble under it.

In his view, the reason they are in the title race and now the favourites is because nobody gave them a chance at the start of the season when Danny Rohl took over from Russell Martin.
