Vitor Matos has thanked the Jack Army for roaring his side over the line against Bristol City on Saturday.

The Swans edged their way to a 1-0 success over the Robins at the Swansea.com Stadium, in a win that keeps their hopes of a play-off push alive.

Swansea have now won seven of their last eight Championship outings at home, although they were made to work hard for this latest success, with Zan Vipotnik popping up with the only goal of the game in the first half.

The home fans showed their support for their side as the contest approached its conclusion, and Matos believes the contributions of the Jack Army were huge in seeing his side over the line.

"I think the fans today were unbelievable," Matos said.

"The last 15 minutes they played the game with us. They tackled the Bristol players with us. They created the counters with us and when you have that the players felt feel it.
