Swansea City boss Vitor Matos says Ethan Galbraith is set to miss the rest of the season.

The Northern Irishman missed the dramatic 3-3 draw with Sheffield United due to a calf problem, and Matos has now revealed the midfielder is unlikely to play again this season.

Galbraith picked up the problem during the recent international break, where he played against both Italy and Wales.

"Ethan has a calf strain so he's really unlikely to play again this season," Matos told the BBC afterwards.

"It will be around six to eight weeks. Nothing I can control – it happened during the international period."

Matos watched on as his side battled their way back from 3-1 down to earn a share of the spoils at Bramall Lane.
