Leeds United and Sunderland looked at Galatasaray’s Gabriel Sara in the winter market.

That’s according to Fotospor from Turkey, who report on Leeds United and Sunderland’s failed attempts to sign the midfielder.

The Brazilian arrived in Europe when Norwich City signed him from São Paulo in July 2022 and left the Championship side for Galatasaray in August 2024.

Sara has been a regular for the Turkish champions, scoring eight goals and contributing 13 assists from 71 matches so far.
