Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing Harry Wilson on a free transfer this summer.

The Fulham winger is out of contract at the end of the season, with several clubs monitoring his situation.

Fulham still hope to tie the 28-year-old down to a new deal, but the lure of playing European football elsewhere could prove decisive.

Villa have been keen on Wilson for months and assessed the possibility of pursuing him in January, when it would have been Fulham’s final opportunity to command a transfer fee unless he signed a new contract.

According to The Telegraph, Villa are among the leading clubs tracking Wilson as he enters the final months of his deal at Craven Cottage.

The Wales international has enjoyed an excellent campaign, registering 12 goal contributions in 25 Premier League appearances.

He has scored nine goals across all competitions, eight of which have come in the Premier League - making this his most productive top-flight season to date.
