Tuur Rommens has made a brilliant impact under Danny Rohl at Rangers.

Rommens joined the Light Blues from Belgian outfit Westerlo for £2.6million in January, with another £500,000 due in performance-related add-ons.

After showing bright signs on his debut against Kilmarnock, the 22-year-old had to wait until Sunday to get his first Scottish Premiership start.

The Sofascore graphic below shows how well he played in the 4-2 win over Hearts at Ibrox, and he has certainly claimed the left-back spot with conviction.

After his impressive performance, Kris Boyd believes he could play a key role in helping Rangers reach a higher level by making more crosses from advanced positions.

Against Hearts, Rommens was a constant threat down the left-hand side, and he created two chances during the game.

Although he has a lot of time to develop, it was clear to see that Rohl sees him as an instant upgrade to his squad to provide competition to Jayden Meghoma.

Speaking on the Go Ballistic podcast on 16 February, Boyd believes that the Belgian left-back can help Rangers reach another level under Rohl.
