Newcastle have been handed one of the most difficult ties they could have been presented with after they were paired with Manchester City.

The Magpies are at home, but find themselves taking on City in what will be two teams' fifth meeting this season.

Manchester City knocked Newcastle out of the Carabao Cup at the semi-final stage, winning both legs at St James' Park and the Etihad Stadium.

The two sides also meet at the Etihad in the Premier League this Saturday evening, with Newcastle having triumphed in their home league fixture against City earlier this season thanks to two goals from Harvey Barnes.

While Newcastle will have to tackle Premier League opposition for the third time in this season's FA Cup, having already knocked out Bournemouth and Aston Villa, Sunderland will be facing opposition from outside the top-flight.
