Tottenham Hotspur have been tracking a highly rated German midfielder for some time, and there is a good chance he will leave his current club this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed adding to their midfield in recent years and did so in the summer by completing the signing of Xavi Simons.

Spurs entered the market again in January for a player who could occupy the middle of the park and managed to secure Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid.

This pattern may well continue in the summer, because Tottenham have spent months tracking Felix Nmecha at Borussia Dortmund.

According to BILD (as relayed by Sport Witness) Nmecha will likely leave the Bundesliga outfit if they receive a £52m bid for his services this summer.

The 25-year-old’s future is said to ‘hang in the balance’, with Dortmund set to face a busy summer of exits.

Spurs are one of numerous clubs interested in Nmecha, but his current employers still intend to use him as a key player going forward. 

The future at Tottenham remains uncertain following the sacking of Thomas Frank, and this could affect their summer transfer plans.
