Vitor Matos has credited the work of assistant coach Diogo Medeiros and analyst Harri Mathias as key drivers behind Swansea City's newfound set-piece threat.

When Matos took over, the Swans were the only side in the entire division not to have scored from a set-piece.

They've since netted 11 times, the latest being a thunderbolt free-kick from Zan Vipotnik in the 4-0 drubbing of Sheffield Wednesday.

It's a remarkable improvement that has clearly helped drive the Swans to a run of 25 points from their last 13 games, a record that leaves them 10 points clear of the relegation zone and five points adrift of the play-offs.

Matos says the improvement is mostly down to work on the training ground, citing the input of Medeiros, who worked with the Swans boss at previous club Maritimo, as a key driver, along with set piece analyst Mathias.
