Martin O’Neill wants Celtic to take every ticket that they are entitled to for next month’s Scottish Cup tie at Ibrox.

Celtic will be across the city in successive weekends next month but there are very different rules for SPFL and Premiership matches.

On March 1 Celtic will have 2,000 fans for the SPFL match with that allocation agreed after months and years of negotiating between the clubs.

The following weekend the focus turns to the Scottish Cup.

O’NEILL CALLS ON SCOTTISH CUP RULES

Under SFA rules the away club is entitled to 20% of the match tickets, a rule that has been in place for decades.

Additionally ticket pricing is agreed between the two competing clubs.

With Ibrox having a capacity of just over 50,000 Celtic are entitled to around 10,000 tickets. More than the Broomloan Road Stand can offer.
