On the other hand, Manchester United’s ‘new manager honeymoon period’ appears to be in full swing. Michael Carrick’s side arrive on the back of 3 consecutive league wins, including victories over the current leaders and runners-up, Arsenal and Manchester City, before a late 3-2 win against Fulham last weekend, a result that has lifted them to 4th in the table.
