In March, Beşiktaş were linked with a move for Ipswich Town forward Jaden Philogene.

The 23-year-old signed for Ipswich Town in January 2025 from Aston Villa. The Tractor Boys were facing relegation back to the Championship and Beşiktaş were hoping to take advantage of the situation.

Beşiktaş manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær wanted to strengthen his attack ahead of the new campaign, but a move for the younger never materialised.

The Turkish club were also linked with Ipswich Town’s Rory Delap before his transfer to Chelsea in the summer.

Solskjær departed the Super Lig club in August, and was replaced by Sergen Yalçın. Despite the change in managers, Philogene is back on the Istanbul giant’s agenda.

That’s no great surprise, Beşiktaş haven’t let their managers guide transfer targets in recent seasons.

Fotospor report Beşiktaş have been approached by agents with regards to the possibility of signing the Ipswich Town attacker. Again, the Black Eagles want to add to their forward line and the 23-year-old is back on the table.
