Tottenham Hotspur bagged a much-needed victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Heading into the game, all talk was centred around Thomas Frank and his future at the club. The Tottenham fanbase have already turned against Thomas Frank, as the Lilywhites sit just 10 points above the Premier League relegation zone. And they made their displeasure clear once again by booing the Dane and his team after the last-gasp 2-1 defeat to London rivals West Ham last weekend.

However, the performance against 10-man Borussia Dortmund will have given the club’s board and supporters a glimmer of hope. That certainly won’t mean that Frank’s job is safe in N17, with Spurs’ Premier League form still completely unacceptable.
