In a surprise turn of events, Tottenham are attempting to sign Andy Robertson from Liverpool, and we now know the financial details behind the move.

It’s no secret that Tottenham need reinforcements across the pitch. Given the intense injury crisis going on and the poor form Thomas Frank’s side have been suffering through, bolstering the ranks makes sense.

Still, given the signing of Brazilian youngster Souza, the idea of Andy Robertson joining Spurs was a bit of a shock when the news first broke on January 23rd.

Things have moved fairly quickly, with Liverpool and Tottenham said to be in talks. We know now how much the Lilywhites want to pay to sign the 31-year-old.

Obviously, Robertson would have been a free agent in the summer, and Spurs could have signed the Scottish star for absolutely nothing.
