There has been another twist in the future of rumoured Tottenham target Jean-Philippe Mateta as Crystal Palace consider offloading the striker before the end of the month.

While Dominic Solanke is now back fit from his injury layoff, Tottenham continue to have problems upfront, with Richarlison now out with a long-term injury.

Additionally, Mathys Tel is pushing to leave Spurs before the end of the month, while Randal Kolo Muani continues to disappoint in front of goal.

As a result, it has been widely reported that the Lilywhites could turn to Jean-Philippe Mateta, whose future at Selhurst Park is up in the air after the striker failed to agree on a new contract with Palace.

A new report in TEAMtalk has now backed up what we have heard from other sources by claiming that Palace have decided to cash in on Mateta this month after refusing to meet the striker’s wage demands.

The outlet claims that Tottenham, Aston Villa and Juventus have all shown an interest in the France international, who the Eagles were willing to sell after they had secured a replacement.

They had hoped to strike a deal with West Ham for Callum Wilson before allowing the 28-year-old to leave....
