Jamie Carragher has drawn up a four-man shortlist of managers that Manchester United should be picking from in the summer: Julian Nagelsmann, Thomas Tuchel, Luis Enrique and Eddie Howe.

Former United midfielder Michael Carrick is in interim charge until the end of the season at Old Trafford, and oversaw a 2-0 win over rivals Manchester City in the local derby at the weekend.

Come the end of the campaign, however, the Red Devils will move to make a permanent appointment, with it currently up in the air who they will choose to replace Carrick and, ultimately, Ruben Amorim.

Carragher was presented with 25 names on the latest episode of Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, broken down into international managers, those available, and those currently at a club.

They included the likes of Carlo Ancelotti who is Brazil boss, England manager Thomas Tuchel, recently-sacked Real Madrid chief Xabi Alonso and wantaway Crystal Palace man Oliver Glasner.
