So thank God that’s out of the way. And all that mattered there was the result. That’s something you’re going to hear over and over again before this season ends. That’s the mantra of our time: all that matters for Celtic right now is the result. The outcome we got through. Job done.

But boy, oh boy — talk about an outcome that asks more questions than it answers. Talk about a performance that tells its own story.

I’m tired. Tired of this window.

I’m tired of talking about it, writing about it, and caring about what happens in it.

I just want it to close. I have no faith that Celtic is going to get it right.

If the club gets anything out of this window, it will be a bonus — but it won’t be enough. The Celtic board has no intention of doing enough. For whatever reason, it does not want to act in a way that puts us in the best possible position to win this title.
