Brendan Rodgers stuns Ronaldo as ex-Liverpool boss continues flying start

Former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers got the upper hand over Cristiano Ronaldo with the latest result in the Saudi Pro League. Thursday night saw Al Nassr take on Al Qadsiah in the Saudi top flight, which saw Ronaldo get on the score sheet despite being on the losing side.
Al Qadsiah claimed a 2-1 win over Al Nassr at Al-Awwal Park, with Julian Quinones and Nahitan Nandez getting the goals for Rodgers’ team.
Ronaldo managed to get a goal for Al-Nassr, where he found the back of the net from the penalty spot in the closing minutes.
Before kick-off, Rodgers and Ronaldo could be seen hugging on the touchline as they greeted each other before the game got underway. The pair had a brief chat before Rodgers’ team went on to defeat Ronaldo and Co., which was the third consecutive victory for the former Liverpool boss.
